Packed full of vitamin C, this vegetable is high in fiber and low in carbohydrates.   Pop these in the oven with some cheese and turkey pepperoni and you have a tasty low carb snack that the family will love.  One serving has 52 calories and 4 grams of fiber.

Corn

Nothing says summer like corn on the cob!   One ear of corn has 27 carbs, 4 grams of fiber and 5 GRAMS OF PROTEIN!   Who knew?!

Grapefruit

If you love the tangy taste of grapefruit then you’ll love what it may be doing for your figure.   One serving of this classic weight loss food is 65 calories, and packed full of vitamin A and C.

Trainer Tip:   In a University of Arizona study, people who ate half a grapefruit before every meal dropped an inch from their waists (source).

Tomatoes

Add some color to your meals along with 2 grams of fiber.   Only 7 carbs and tons of cancer fighting lycopene.   One serving is only 33 calories!

Berries

Berries are the perfect fitness food.   They are low in calories, packed full of cancer fighting agents, filled with beauty enhancing vitamins and high in fiber.   These should be your GO TO fruit of choice when you want something sweet without all the carbs and calories.

Trainer Tip:   One cup of strawberries contains more vitamin C then an Orange, 7 grams of sugar and 3 grams of fiber!

Grapes

Whether they are frozen, fresh or blended in a smoothy.  Grapes make a great addition to any summer meal.  3/4 cup of grapes have no fat, no cholesterol, and virtually no sodium.
